Surface requirements and installationTiles are easily cut with a diamond disc machine. Any carrier surface is suitable for installation - brick, concrete, stone, etc. The carrier surface is cleaned and treated with an acrylic building dispersion "SOKRAT", with 1 part suspension, 2 parts water. Panels are glued to the wall with the use of Knauf Fliesenkleber - for exteriors and Knauf Fliesenkleber "N" - for interiors. To give the glue extra adhesive qualities "SOKRAT" can be added to the mixture, at 10% quantity of the total mass. Glue is mixed until the required consistency is obtained and is applied to both the carrier surface and the panel. Then the panel is pressed against the installation surface. When installing brick-imitating tiles it is recommended to apply a higher amount of glue. This in turn will allow you to avoid filling in the seams, as the extra glue will be pushed out and thus form not only the seams, but a texture, imitating old brickwork. It is recommended to add a building pigment (yellow, brown, beige, or other) to the glue when installing brick-imitating tiles. This will give extra decorative qualities to the "brickwork". Installation does not require and special skills, nor any professional equipment. The process is so simple that any person with a basic knowledge will be able to carry out the installation. Product careConcrete products do not require any special care. Interior decorations can be cleaned with household items, while exterior decorations can be cleaned with high-pressure appliances, such as WAP or Kerchter. Surfaces can be additionally treated with a silicone anti-graffiti layer. |
